VISHING ADVISORY

Chesterfield Federal Credit Union has received word of an telephone vishing threat targeted at Chesterfield Federal Credit Union members.

Some members have received an telephone call claiming to be from Chesterfield Federal Credit Union informing the recipient that their credit card or debit card account has been suspended. The telephone call requests that the member enter their card number in order to have it reactivated.

Chesterfield Federal Credit Union is not making these phone calls.  The phone numbers were randomly generated. Chesterfield Federal Credit Union databases are safe and have not been hacked.  Member information is safe and secure. If you received this phone call and are not a member, please be assured that your information did not come from us.  

If you entered your card information, please call 1-800-449-7728 to report your Visa card or debit card stolen. This number is available 24/7 to assist you.  Our member service representatives are available from 8:45am - 5:15pm by calling 804-748-1417 to assist with any questions you may have.
