Want to become more involved with your credit union? Would you like to serve the interests of your fellow members? If so, please consider becoming a volunteer!

We are a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, and we rely on members like you to volunteer their time and efforts to help set the overall course of the credit union. You'll play a key role and the contributions you make impact the day-to-day functions of our operations, as well as shape the future of our credit union.

We currently have an opening on our Supervisory Committee for someone interested in serving.  Read below to find out more.

What is the Supervisory Committee?

The Supervisory Committee ensures that internal operations are valid, accurate, and efficient by verifying accounting records and reports prepared by staff.  A background in auditing, finance, or accounting would be helpful.

What is the time commitment?

You will be asked to attend a meeting for up to an hour usually 1 or 2 days per month, plus performing occasional review activities that takes approximately two to three hours per month as needed. Training will be provided.  If you are a Chesterfield County employee, attending meetings and performing review work is allowed to be done within your workday since this is an volunteer role for a related entity of the county.

What are the eligibility requirements?

You must be a member in good standing of Chesterfield Federal Credit Union to serve.

For consideration, please submit a letter of interest to Jeff Franklin, Supervisory Committee Chair, at supervisorycommittee@chesterfieldfcu.net.
